The game includes multiplayer capability, enabling gamers to play with a friend who is in the same room or on the Internet. In “Resident Evil 6,” players have the ability to choose from three different storylines: series regulars Leon or Chris, or newcomer Jake, who is the son of series villain Albert Wesker.
Capcom took five additional months to develop and release the PC version, only to leave it unsuitable for a keyboard and mouse. “Resident Evil 6” released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in October 2012, and more recently for PC in March.
